CUBO ISOMETRICO - 1986
colore su legno | 120x10The Cubo Isometrico is what it says and belongs to an extensive series of reliefs from the 80s using a hexagonal plane and slanting rectangular rods in relief suggesting a cube. The colour of the rods is superimposed and reflects onto the coloured base as a colour-film as well as a colour-shadow. Thus, from a quasi-two-dimensional surface the eye is led to a threedimensional image. And as (day-)light and the moving eye change position the picture itself changes indefinitely. It is the trans-dimensional aspect that comes into play here as in the following works.
