Under her teacher Antonio Virduzzo Lita Luparello moves to non-figurative painting. With Le Idee she is well on her very own way there. And the relief becomes one of her favourite forms of expression when she seeks the effects of spatial depth alongside depth created chromatically. The painting belongs to a series of explorations into stratified colour-planes and even curtain-like overlays that reappear in her most recent work (cf. No. 18 and 24ff).
